For BBW 08 - Hotels - you should not have a problem this year. Hotels are not booked up yet. Some are but a lot are not.

Room / Roomate Assistance for Bike Week helped 11 in 2007, 13 in 2006, 0 in 2005, 24 in 2004, 43 in 2003, 84 in 2002, 62 in 2001, and 44 people find rooms or roomates in 2000. The majority of those folks remain ungrateful. BUT everyone in 2006 at least said thanks and even presented a gift. Although its not neccessary, we thank you and we will continue because a few do actually appreciate it and at least say "Thanks". Due to limited contacts and people keeping the hookups, the availability was very limited and will be even less next year.

If we are the recipients of some outrageous injustice, we rebel for a few months then our attention wains away and it gets swept under a rug. Well, this reminds you of the "old" incidents so you remain refreshed and prepared for future one. -Klansmen found guilty of murder in 1963 bombing of Alabama church. FBI blocked prosecution of Klansmen in 1963, but have since met with Black ministers and the reopened investigation leads to a GUILTY verdict. Tavis Smiley gets FIRED from BET right after Viacom acquires it. Get the story. Shawn Puffy Combs gets a NOT GUILTY verdict. - How many donuts come in a dozen?? The same amount of Philladelphia Police officers it takes to apprehend a black man shot 5 times!! HOW COULD THEY THINK NOBODY WAS LOOKING?? Plus after they got him handcuffed - they continued to apply the choke hold on him while walking him to the car!! Well, the good thing is - I wont car-jack in Philly!!. Not ALL cops are bad, but some are. Every black man is not a drug dealer and in LA, the system is beginning to prove that. The Los Angeles Police have overturned convictions because the gang-unit has been rippin off Drug Dealers.This is a must read - LAPD under its own gun. Previous news - The 4 NYPD officers were found NOT GUITLY of gunning down innocent African immigrant, Amadou Diallo. Furthermore know that segregation and integration are not quite so far in our distant past. People think we have arrived at equality and nothing could be further from the truth. Im talking about physical attacks like the Black Man MURDERED in the small Texas town of Lone Oak! The crime so hideous 2 of the 3 received the DEATH penalty and the third is received life. In New York a parade float made a mockery of that tragedy. WE still have active hate groups involved in ritualistic initiations of murder like in Indiana. In order to be a member of some of these hate groups, you must first gun down an innocent minority. He was selected at random and killed. It can happen anywhere and anytime. Years ago my college roomate Lenel Jeter was imprisoned for armed robbery while employed as an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, even when the company assured police he was at work, and had records to prove it. If you think for one second things will work out - your LOST already! Dont let people around you think your people can be butchered, burned, hung, etc and you not even SAY something about it. Memorial Day Bike Week has come and gone again and the crusade to squash it continues. If you dont respond to new allegations and rumors, it will be accepted as true by people researching the event. Racism is not going to suddenly vanish one day. You have to hack away at it everyday. Little things like these stories perpetuate it, and your responses offer a "THINKING" person an alternative view. If only one side is offered, then one TRUTH about black people is formed and you wonder where the hell it came from? Finally, Thanx for visiting this site, although it has been kicked off the net a few times. I also lost my job and fell victim to corporate racism.
