Message to Ms. Shelly Pope>> I have not heard a peep out of any of the people that claimed you scammed them since July 00. I also have not heard your side of the story. I guess we will chalk this one up to "the net". I also did remove the info about you since no one gave any indications of taking ANY kind of action. If you ever want to let people know what happened, holla back. You did appear very nice and professional in your transactions with us and maybe it was just a business venture that overwhelmed you. If that is the case, please enlighten us and I will be glad to post your side of the episode in it's entirety....

So many people called for action against Ms Pope, yet do nothing when they get the opportunity.
During Black Bike week several people bought "packages" from Ladies of Color promotions. This was alledged to be an elaborate internet scam set up by a lady identifying herself as Shelly Pope. She also contacted many hotels in the area and businesses for donations of goods, services, and money. She alledgedly absconded with several THOUSANDS of dollars, left hundreds of unfulflilled obligations, and many people arrived during Black Bike Week amidst the chaos only to find they never had a room. Could this have been the all good intentions of a business woman's plans that just went bad?? Could this have all been a big unintended business disaster??
I did meet the woman personally in Atlantic Beach and she looks exactly like the picture she posted in her club ( which vanished after BBW ). She was in the company of a 6'3", 250lb somewhat obese black male, small beard, short hair, and went by the name of "Big D". I guess that stood for Dell. Big D was constantly making business plans via cell phone as Shelly tried to talk me into leading the tailgate from the North to the stadium. My party had already started for BBW so I declined. I also talked to her several times as she would contact me to post her information on my website. It was unbeknownst to me what her intentions were. I along with others were used to further Ladies of Color's endeavors.
IF ANYONE ELSE HAS BEEN DEFRAUDED BY HER - CHALK IT UP TO EXPERIENCE AND BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME. The few that did locate her are not doing much of anything.
Shelly Pope's cell phone # REMOVED FROM THIS SITE, pager # REMOVED FROM THIS SITE. Any and all info on Ms. Pope has been removed because of a lack of action on the initial complaining parties.
UPDATES ON HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER :
17 Aug 00> MANY people cried out when they were alledgedly "Scammed" but now - not a fuckin PEEP outta the so-called irate and pissed off people that were supposedly scammed. I removed all info on MS. Pope because the ones that did get it, evidently didnt do crap. Havent had any updates on anyones actions. AS OF TODAY, WE AT CHAZZNET MOVE PAST THIS BLOTCH ON THE BLACK BIKE WEEKEND EVENTS. There is nothing further to sustain these updates because the very people that wanted them are doing nothing. I cannot support the efforts of others that do nothing to support themselves. All the screamers that sent me the emails about finding her and doing this and that, etc .. etc.. have obviously done NOTHING.
4 Aug 00> Havent heard a peep from all the people that were scammed by Shelly. When they couldnt find her, everyone was screaming kill her, drive by, taking out contracts...etc. Now that she has been found.. I HAVEN'T HEARD A PEEP FROM ANYBODY ABOUT ANY KIND OF REPERCUSSIONS. I even offered a common posting forum here for progress and sharing information to help eliminate internet scammer activity among us and NOBODY has used it except to gripe and talk shit. The purpose is not for entertainment but for information to all to assist in recouping some losses and preventing others from losing in the future. The loudest screamers know who they are and before she was located, I heard from yall once in a while, now - its a ghosttown.
4 July 00> An arrest warrant has been issued for Ms. Pope. She found out about it and turned herself in. BigBrodie is suppose to make a trip down to MD to @ least put a strangle hold on her legally. April ( another person that AVOIDED Victimization by Shelly ) has been getting calls from Shelly's lawyers, or what ever, trying to hand over documents that might or might not help her (Shelly's) case. If you have legal action you want to initiate, please email me and Ill list you and your lawyer here, so that others may see and share the collected info and the effort to recoup your losses will be a coordinated one and not a bunch of half ass attempts with bits and pieces of info. I can tell you from personal experience that 4 lawyers sharing the same data are MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE than one lawyer with his head up his ass.
3 July 00> Received response from America
Online - they deleted the emails she sent to me. They keep them
only a certain amount of time.

2 July 00> Email known victims and clubs for info and dealings with Ms. Pope, posted to clubs that dealt with her. Reported her abuse of the Yahoo Club "Ladies of Color" to abuse@yahoo.com . Posted notings in various yahoo clubs I am a member of.

I was also ass out after driving 11 hours! We went on the damn streets beggin niggaz to help us find a place to stay. We got lucky becuase some motorcycle club had too many rooms so we all bunched up in it. I paid for a suite, and this entertainment that never happened. I heard about the ChazNet website then saw this shit!! Hats off to you Batldron for takin the time to do this and track this bitch down.! The money is really no big deal because my pockets are deep, feel me, but fucking me out of it you gotta pay girl. I just wanted to say that I do have a lawyer and he is dealing with you. I dont have to talk to you nor do I want you to call anymore. I want to put my upz in here to the website, the Batldron webmaster, and thank all that helped me find her. We are suing her now.
