Go to http://www.golfdog.com/answers.htm page to see what is being said about those of us who attend Bike Week in Myrtle Beach. Scroll down to "things to avoid" .After you read it, pass this webpage on to your Bike Week buddies and urge them to take a few minutes to send the website administrator a quick email to let him/her know that we are not all "a bunch of rowdy young bikers". Also ask why the Harley week is not mentioned. ChazzNet is definetely going to make an issue of this. ( Not like we the NAACP but we can cause some heads to turn ) I read that and its just what I say all year!! This campaign to end Bike Week doesnt quit when we leave, or begin just before we arrive. It goes on ALL YEAR LONG!! Little things like articles, word of mouth, price hikes, and this "advisory" that perpetuates the anti-bike week theme all year long. If you attend this event, take a minute to send an email or make a toll free phone call. It will take you a minute, but it will take them hours and hours to respond to the demand we place on them for equal and fair treatment. Yes, you can call them at 1.800.581 5922, and asked them why they are NOT mentioning the week before Memorial Day when the Harley crowd is there, that will load up their phone line, phone bill, and let them know they are not hiding behind a golf ball. The reason they put that there is because they figure, black people dont golf or the ones that do, will roll over and take it. I dont advocate cussing them out, but be tactful and demand a reason behind that "advisory" If you want, you can send an email to info@golfinsc.com and let them know the same.
